I always love my Fridays. I make a point to go out on Fridays, with or without company. Usually I go to the library, choose a book, hide myself at the Quiet Reading Room and read to my heart content. I’m into another different world. Totally no disturbance. So peaceful.
Today, after the library,I had my very early, healthy dinner…
Then I went for a walk at the shopping mall just to window-shop ONLY. I don’t really like to shop when I’m alone. Shopping with others is so much fun than shopping alone.
The time was just right for me to fetch Afiqah and Affandy from school. It was raining earlier but the rain stopped when I was about to fetch them. While walking to their school, I was enjoying the evening sunset…. Subhanallah….
I repeat again, I love FRIDAY!!
These are reasons why I love to jog at Vista Park. It has a running track, with lots of exercise equipments, four playgrounds and lots of trees. I’ll take more photos on my next running trip, InsyaAllah.
I’m so loving it! I felt like I was running on a thick sponge and it’s so much lighter, compared to my old running shoes. Syiokness to the max! 😀
My new running shoes!
Two hours of going in and out of three sports houses, trying the shoes, I decided on this. Whatever requirements I wanted in the running shoes are all met – pink, light and affordable.
It’s time to run! Bye…… 😀
I sent my two younger kids to school just now, when we saw a police car drove by. Suddenly, Affandy held my hand tight and he looked so afraid.
I asked him what’s wrong, and his reply made me laughed so hard until tears came out.
Innocently and seriously, he replied :
“Ady takut nanti polis tembak Ady, sebab polis suka tembak orang handsome. Orang tak handsome, tak kena tembak!”
LOL!! Oh my God……he categorized himself as “handsome one” and the police will shoot him for being handsome!! Where in the world he got that idea from?
Anak siapa ni……?
I jogged again today, after a week of my last jog. If can, I wanted to jog everyday, but due to my tight schedule, it seems impossible to do that.
Nevertheless, I didn’t feel quite satisfied with today’s running. It’s my fault actually. I started cooking dinner after my Asar prayer, gedebak gedebuk, I only started running at 5.30 pm. This time, only managed to run for 1 km and some work outs on the exercise equipments. Then I had to rush to fetch my two little ones from school.
I did not feel so much pain and ache like last week. So I concluded that today, I did not do enough. But nevermind, I shall return with vengeance! 😀
And today, my running shoes gave way by having a gap on the sole. Coincidentally, my mommy friend who is also a runner like me (macam champion sey….), also had the same problem. So….tomorrow, we will be go running-shoes hunting and I am getting excited already!!
My running shoes have to be pink in colour, that is a must. Also must be light, durable and cheap affordable. Hubby has given me the green light to get one, so…. as a filial obedience wife (ehem…ehem….), I shall get them.
I started my daily routine very early in the morning today. As I was folding the clothes, I listened to Radio Ikim. The DJ was updating the listeners the news on their local newspapers.
One news that gave me a shock and speechless….. here.
Ya Allah, how could a husband did that to a wife? I was beyond words. A husband should provide protection and security to his wife, but not this!
The unfortunate lady was beaten, her hair was shaved till bald, and divorced her with THREE talak while urinated directly at her face!!
What triggered the anger? It’s all because the wife’s cooking was not up to his expectation!! Astaghfirullah…..
This is totally, really absurd and preposterous. A couple may fight and have misunderstandings, but a wife does not deserve this kind of treatment and humiliation.
“…then keep (them) in good fellowship or let (them) go with kindness” ~ Surah Al-Baqarah : 229
Kecoh and Gerek!
That’s the two words that I can describe for my mommy friends.
Totally ladies only, with NO kids (and husbands) tagging along. We started with a hearty Ayam Penyet lunch, shopped till we dropped, photo-taking, browsed and tried out things at the shops, the jokes and laughter. Without realizing that half a day was gone.
Seriously, shopping and hanging out with my MQG is so happening and so much fun. It’s not that often that we could gather the whole gang. But when we meet, we are just in our own girls’ world.
