Today is the second day of the school holidays. We have not really do much. The kids attended their Quran class in the morning and Afrina went to school for her CCA.
Since Hubby has to work, we went out on public transport all the way to Potong Pasir to take CD from my cousin’s house. We alighted at the bus stop in front of McDonalds. Suddeny my kids felt hungry at the same time, even though they had taken their lunch. Just looking at the big letter ‘M’ really can make them hungry. We had our snacks there, and the kids were happy and satisfied.
When we were on the NEL to Dhoby Ghaut, we almost missed our stop. Affandy was concentrating playing his PSP, my girls with their Nintendos and myself was busy writing my thoughts on my notebook. When I looked up, I realized that we were already at Dhoby Ghaut station and the train was about to close the door. We managed to alight just in time before the door closed.
I failed to update again, due to my very tight schedules and activities.
I was busy preparing for my brother-in-law’s wedding on last weekend. Alhamdulillah, everything went smoothly as planned. My body is still very exhausted. Due to the unexpected crowd, I was standing almost all the way throughout the wedding day.
Today is supposed to be a rest day for me, but I still need to go to my parent-in-law’s house to help them to clear. Due to exhaustion and lack of sleep, Hubby is down with flu and fever.
On my part, I have lots and lots of photos to be uploaded. Three major events all happened on the same week. People are chasing me already. The problem is, when can I really sit down and get the job done?
Not alone but feeling lonely.
In the same group but feels like an outsider.
Being invited in but feels not needed.
Don’t feel welcome and accepted at all.
Friends but seems like strangers.
Individual is fine but not as a group.
Too many protocols.
The best is self-realization. To know where is the standing point. To draw a line. To perform the very best on the tasks given.
Hubby and I had a meeting to attend at night, so we made plan to spend quality time with our children in the afternoon. Since we had no idea where to bring them, we decided to catch a movie.
We watched “Alice In Wonderland”.
It seems that Hubby and my girls enjoyed the movie. Affandy, as always, only concentrated on the movie for a while. Then he got restless and could not sit still. He talked loudly at the cinema. As for me, I slept halfway throughout the movie…. 😀
