Sacred Knowledge

“The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Qur’an, a guidance for mankind and clear proofs for the guidance and the criterion (between right and wrong).” ~ Al-Baqarah : 185

My Halaqah class with my beloved Ustaz hafizahullah, is getting deeper and deeper each week.  I truly enjoy every moment of it.  Tiredness and sleepinees could not stopped me from being present in the garden of paradise.  Full of good and lovely people.  The most important, the class is full of sacred knowledge.  MasyaAllah….

Ya Ramadhan….

Ahlan Wa Sahlan, ya Ramadhan…..

Alhamdulillah, another year had passed and Allah grants us to be in another Ramadhan.  There’s full of blessing in every moment and every second in Ramadhan.

The first ten days of Ramadhan is full of Allah’s blessings.  We will not get that blessings if we do not ask from Allah.  Keep on asking Allah to grant us with His blessings.  We may not know which blessings are best for our soul.  Only Allah knows best.  So learn to accept whatever blessings we have received.  Ask from Allah with full-hearted and sincere.  And don’t forget to spread the blessings through our eyes, mouth, ears, hands etc. as we are His khalifah.

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Apostle said: “Whoever establishes prayers during the nights of Ramadhan faithfully out of sincere faith and hoping to attain Allah’s rewards (not for showing off), all his past sins will be forgiven.”

Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, “Whoever established prayers on the night of Qadr out of sincere faith and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his previous sins will be forgiven; and whoever fasts in the month of Ramadhan out of sincere faith, and hoping for a reward from Allah, then all his previous sins will be forgiven.”

~ Sahih Bukhari

The Battle Starts Now

Seriously, I am feeling mentally tired right now.  The attitude in the house is bringing me down.

I am always looking forward to my classes by Ustaz Shafi hafizahullah.  His words of wisdom really perks me up.  Time really went past so fast when I was in his class.  With good people sitting around me and under the wings of millions of angels, I was in the garden of paradise.

Having the chance to step out of the house brings joyous feeling to me.  My bedroom is my sanctuary now.  After I’ve done with all the responsibilities, going out or hide inside was all I wanted to do.  Somehow I could managed my stress level better that way.

I’ve learnt something valuable this week.  Even how bad I want something to happen, and Allah does not permit that to happen, it will NEVER happen.  And there’s always a blessing in disguise.  It proves that Allah knows what’s best for me.

Quote from my Ustaz, “our society has celebrated victory first, even before the battle starts.”

How true!!

People are busy preparing for Hari Raya, even before Ramadhan comes.  But what have we prepare for the coming Ramadhan?  Shopping, shopping and more shopping?

It’s time to reflect and get organized for the holy month of Ramadhan.

Lead Me

A night full of blessings, in Allah’s abode.  A reminder from Allah, through my Ustaz, hafizahullah.

1)  And Verily, you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) are on an exalted (standard of) character. ~ Al-Qalam : 4

2a)  O you who have believed! Bow down, and prostrate yourselves, and worship your Lord and do good that you may be successful. ~ Al-Hajj : 77

2b)  Help one another in virtue, righteousness and piety; but do not help one another in sin and transgression. And fear Allah. Verily, Allah is Severe in punishment. ~ Al-Maidah : 2

3) If Allah had willed, He would have made you one nation, but that (He) may test you in what He has given you; so compete in good deeds. The return of you (all) is to Allah. ~ Al-Maidah : 48

Lead me, Ya Allah.

Don’t leave me helpless, without Your grace.

Lead me ALL the way, and let me in.

The One

A beautiful reminder and lesson learnt from my Hadith Class with Ustaz Shafi hafizahullah.  May Allah protects and preserves him and his family.

From Surah As-Syu’ara : 78-85

“Who created me, and it is He Who guides me;”

“Who gives me food and drink,”

“And when I am ill, it is He Who cures me;”

“Who will cause me to die, and then to life (again);”

“And who, I hope, will forgive me my faults on the day of Judgment.”

“O my Lord! bestow wisdom on me, and join me with the righteous;”

“Grant me honourable mention on the tongue of truth among the latest (generations);”

“Make me one of the inheritors of the Garden of Bliss.”

Talk to Allah, and He will listen and guides us all the way.  It is Allah who replete our hunger and quench our thirst.  It is Allah who cures our illness, not the doctors or medicines.  Never lose faith when we are struck with illness.  As illness comes from Allah, seek Him first, for the cure.  We tend to forget that Allah is the One who creates us.  Allah reminds us of death, as Allah will not look upon those who neglect Him willfully.

Life, now,  in this world is just a stop-by place.  Those who worship Allah, will get the world as He is the Owner.  But for those who loves the world so much, will infuriate Him.  Count your own blessings from Him and be thankful.  Keep on remembering Allah through prayers, zikr, reciting the Quran etc.  Think of Allah more than this world.  And let Allah guides and teaches us with His vast of knowledge.

Take good care of ourselves before our death in order to be good-mentioned by others, as human will be remembered better, after their death.

Wallahu’alam.

I Am Nothing

~ On the authority of Abu Dharr al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him) from the Prophet (peace be upon him) is that among the sayings he relates from his Lord (may He be glorified) is that He said :

O My servants, all of you are astray except for those I have guided, so seek guidance of Me and I shall guide you.

O My servants, all of you are hungry except for those I have fed, so seek food of Me and I shall feed you.

O My servants, all of you are naked except for those I have clothed, so seek clothing of Me and I shall clothe you.

O My servants, you sin by night and by day, and I forgive all sins, so seek forgiveness of Me and I shall forgive you.”

It was related by Muslim (also by at-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah). ~

When I read and reflect on the hadith above, I cried and felt so ashamed of myself.  This hadith was brought to my attention on my Kuliah Hadith.  Ustaz explained in length what my Lord is telling me.  Without HIM, I am nothing.

Only HIM can give me hidayah.

All the food that I ate, comes from HIM, as HE is the Most-Generous.

The clothing to cover my aurah, are all from HIM.

And I have lots of sin, day and night, and only HIM can grant me forgiveness.

I don’t deserve the blessings from HIM, yet I am given so much from HIM.

I always praise human, but I forget that all praises are for Allah.

Subhanallah, Alhamdulillah, Allahu Akbar…….

Ummi’s Day

After having three children of my own, I never fail to receive Mother’s Day card or gift since they enter school.  This year Mother’s Day was somehow different from last year.  The gifts from my children really made me smile.

These were the things that I got from them :

A flower from Afrina, a self-made card from Affandy and a $1 coin from Afiqah. :D

Yes, Afiqah, my very unique daughter gave me a $1 coin for Mother’s Day.  And she saved from the daily pocket money that she received.  I could not help myself from laughing hard.  I never expect she would give me money.  She is one unique child.

My hope is that my three children will grow up and become very useful persons and benefit other people.  May Allah makes them smart and makes me and my Hubby, a smart parents too.  I pray that my children will always pray for me when I am no longer with them.

At my Sunday Dhuha class at Masjid An-Nur, Ustaz Shafi made du’a specially for us, the mothers.  He constantly reminded us that to make our children soleh, make sure we ourselves are soleh to our mothers.  By looking at our mothers, it will bring barakah and karamah.  A mother’s du’a exceeded the du’a from a waliWallahu’alam.
